OpenStations is still taking shape. Here is what is settled today.
What is OpenStations?
OpenStations is a marketplace for massage room rental. Massage studios, spas, and wellness businesses list treatment rooms they aren't using, and independent massage therapists book them by the hour to see their own clients.
How do I rent out an unused massage room?
Add each room with a short description and an hourly rate, then choose the days and hours it's open. Therapists request the hours they need, and you approve each request. You can pause a room any time you need it back.
Can I rent a massage room by the hour or for a full day?
Yes. Therapists can book a room for anywhere from 30 minutes to 8 hours, within the hours the studio has opened it. There is no lease and no long-term commitment.
How are payments handled?
Each room shows its hourly rate. For now, payment for a booking is settled directly between the therapist and the business, not through OpenStations.
Is OpenStations available now?
Not publicly yet. OpenStations is in private testing.
How can I get early access?
Join the beta waitlist and choose your platform. Early builds will be shared through Apple TestFlight and Google Play Closed Testing as the beta expands.
Can a massage business find help when it is short-staffed?
Yes, as an additional feature. A business can post an appointment it can't cover, and independent massage therapists nearby can apply to take it. Room rental remains the core of OpenStations.
Is OpenStations only for massage?
No. Massage comes first, and nail studios and nail technicians are next. Starting with massage, OpenStations is building a flexible workspace marketplace for appointment-based professionals, and other fields, such as hair, barbering, and esthetics, may follow as the platform grows.
